The Digital Change Management Institute (DCMI) is a professional body dedicated to improving the success of business and digital transformation initiatives. We exist for one purpose: To help organizations realize more value from strategic initiative implementation by applying success-based, data-driven approaches to the execution of change and transformation initiatives. In an era where digital transformation success rates remain stubbornly low, DCMI provides the research, tools, and professional community to close that gap. We are an integrator and knowledge hub – bringing together leaders, practitioners, and researchers across strategy execution, change management, project delivery, business and technology transformation to advance the field of execution and implementation globally.

Why DCMI Exists
The digital era was expected to make strategy execution easier. Paradoxically, research shows that implementation success rates are lower today than in the pre-digital era, despite massive technology investments. Second, with the arrival of digital technologies, human deployment in organizations will drastically change.
The founders of DCMI, after decades of field experience and research across industries, identified one critical gap: Implementation success depends less on technology and more on human decision-making under complex, rapidly changing conditions.
DCMI was created to fill that gap by:
